Bullfrogs!!

I have dutifully Googled bullfrogs, like I said I would, and this is what I found:

  • Rana catesbeiana[1][2][3]) is an aquatic frog, a member of the family Ranidae, or "true frogs", native to much of North America[4]. This is a frog of larger, permanent water bodies, swamps, ponds, lakes, where it is usually found along the water's edge [5]. On rainy nights, bullfrogs along with many other amphibians, go overland and may be seen in numbers on country roads.

American bullfrogs live longer in warm weather. They have been widely introduced across North America (see range map). The original, naturally determined range did not include far western regions where it is found today. [6] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullfrog)

I'm guessing we aren't very interested in the last three (although if you- for some weird reason, I mean, who wants to buy anything with a brand called Bullfrog?- ARE interested, you can follow the link... FREAK!! :P) so the information is on the first one. In relation to their snorting I asked this question, Do any kinds of bullfrogs snort?, on Yahoo Answers.

I will update you when we have an answer.
Until then, my slimy friends!

I'm a REBEL

Do you want to know where I am right now? I'm sure you do, so I'm gonna tell you. I'm in my French class and I'm on here at the same time... REBELLIOUS, right?!

Well actually it is a special French class for me. Last year I went on exchange to my aunt's house in Grenoble, France for the whole year (This will provide some very.. interesting stories I really must tell you later on!). So, naturally, I learned French-I am actually very good at learning languages- and my French would be a level four. The thing is that the level four class couldn't fit into my schedule so I am stuck in the level two class but doing a different curriculum. This basically translates into me letting loose on the computer the whole class, with the teacher, or madame, rarely coming to check on me. It is actually very fun because I can do what I want while I still practice my French, plus the class is really funny!

Since you are so eager to know why...
There is this senior in our 9th grade class, let's call him Philious (I like weird names!!). Philious is a very special person, and a hilarious one too. My sister also has some classes with him and we sometimes spend our afternoons divulging in what we call 'Philious stories'. I think everybody you ask will tell you that Philious is just one of a kind, and SO stupid that he can make anybody laugh. I will regularly post Philious stories so you can laugh with me, but I don't know what we will do when he leaves for college in York, which he yelled through the halls, I swear! But lets just enjoy him while he's here.
This leads me to something he is doing right now. He is snorting like a bullfrog (If they snort.. do they even have noses, what exactly ARE bullfrogs?!? I will Google that in a moment.), and it is disgusting as hell. I am seriously tempted to just hand him a Kleenex and say 'Please, use it!'.
There he goes again!

And there goes ME, toodles!

Short, Colorful Stories!

Hello fellow Bloggers (and I am actually saying hello to someone because I have TWO followers, TWO!! [Okay, I actually made a deal with one of them to follow my blog and I would follow her's but, oh well, it's ME!] :D)
So I have a couple of short, but very ME stories:

  • Yesterday my dad totally freaked out on me because I had an attitude. That doesn't happen in real life! Don't parents know that you're only supposed scold your kid for having an attitude... in movies?! Oh, but I guess you can also scold them for that if they are ME.
  • Still on the topic of my dad, today was his birthday. So I was woken up at five A.M. to take a shower quietly, and the damn shower door wouldn't close so I ended up showering with a mini-spurt so that my whole bathroom floor wouldn't get wet. We then woke him up singing 'Happy Birthday' an he didn't even realize it was his birthday, then when he noticed, he said that he had thought he was forty-six all last year, when he really just turned it. That is totally HIM... maybe that's where I get it from! :P love him
  • Do you remember the guy I told you about that had heard me talking about him? Let's call him Ben. Well, my friends and I were almost the last ones left in the cafeteria and somehow the topic of him came up. So because I'm like that, I said 'Oh, I never understand his jokes! But I...' Only then was I interrupted by a friend to be told that Ben was right beside me and of course, I was practically screaming. And the worst part is that what I didn't get to say was that I was really liking him now. :-[ That's so ME!

Ta-ta for now! ;)

♪ Saturday ♪

Posted by Daniela Berenguer On 5:49 PM 0 comments

Here I am. Writing on my blog on a Saturday night. And it's not like I have nothing else to do, I have a party and I just got home from spending 2 days with some friends. You would think, Then why is she writing on here when she could be out enjoying a party?? (Though, if you like the blog, you would be saying, Yay! She'd rather post one of her wonderful and deep yet funny stories for people like me to read, than go out and have fun! Yay! *Dramatization) Well the answer is, because I'm ME.
Let's start from the beggining. I went out with my friends and one of our guy friends and he brought some of his friends too, it was very casual. So the guy I was with, lets call him Mr.X, was someone I'd always known but never really known. We were talking and having a good time, like I said, very casual. Then I got home and I had a dream about Mr.X, which was weird because I never really thought he was cute or anything (and I think A LOT of guys are cute :P). I kind of developed a crush on him, one that I didn't know how big was until about two weeks ago when he started being a real jerky, or at least started showing it. He stole our lunch table and now sits there with his friends staring at us all lunch long, which is really annoying and also confuses me a lot. Plus, one time I was taking to some guys next to him and he got all self-important and told me, rudely, to go away. Who does he think he is?! Well, I straightened him out and told him, maybe rudely, to never talk to me like that again. The worst part is that even after he is such an a-hole, I still can't get over him!!
So, how this all connects to tonight's party is that it is being thrown by one of Mr.X's and my sister's friends, they are in 11th and I'm in 9th grade. I'm pretty sure that Mr. X is gonna be there and it might be weird because, if I forgot to mention, Mr.X is madly in love with my sister's best friend. By the way, I really like her and she totally doesn't feel the same way about Mr.X.
Yup, it's a strange love triangle; Yup, it's the reason why I'm sitting here on a Saturday night watching Tom & Jerry with my totally asleep brother; And yup, it's so totally ME!

Wrong Place, Wrong Time, Wrong Comment!

Ok, I'm sure you have all at least heard about something like this if not lived it, and don't you just hate it? So here I am, walking with a friend towards our ___ class and talking normally. She mentions one of the guys in our school and I casually say 'Ugh, I hate him! Although I like how he always jokes around.' Well, we keep on talking and walking when suddenly, out of the blue, someone pops out from behind us. Can ya guess how that SOMEONE was? It was the guy we were just talking about! And just to make things worse, he decides to add to this embarrassing and ack-ward moment by saying 'I wasn't eavsdropping, I didn't hear anything...' How guilty does that make you look?!? Ok, I addmit my friend did scream when he appeared behind us, but COME AWN!! So now I'm left with this horrible, unrelinquishing doubt of 'did he hear?!' I spend all day worrying about this, let's just say he can have a lot of power over us this semester, until finally I have a class with him. I can see almost right away that he's not acting normal... he is being really NICE with me and my friend!! He says hello, he offers to help, he talks to us and asks us stuff when normaly he wouldn't do any of that. Now I have absolutely no idea what too think! Did he hear me saiyng I hate him? (although if he does it's not true, it's just one of those things you say about people, like 'I love her!' or 'I hate him!'. I don't really mean it. I actually think he's pretty cool after he was so nice to me!) Is this some kind of sick twisted revenge?
Did he hear the part when I said I liked his sense of humor? Does he like me because of it?
HEELP!!

So yeah, don't you just hate that? And if you hadn't hear about something like that, you've come to the right place, because that kind of thing is totally ME.
